Custom designing an ethnic Indian choker

Hello everybody! I have been out of the blogging scene for a few days and I have good reason!

I was busy custom  designing a choker for a client who wants to wear it for the IIFA awards night on June 25, 2011. There is always a thrill associated with custom designing jewelry. I really had to start cracking and get my creative juices flowing and hence was busy at my workstation creating this jewelry set.

From designing the piece, to obtaining the materials, it took me quite a while to create this, felt like forever. After getting all the materials, it took me about 3  hours to design start to finish! Phew!

But am so glad K*D* my client loved it!

So Voila here is my latest creation! AhKriti Urmika!
Urmika in hindi means a small wave.
The spiral beads remind me of ripples and waves in the ocean.

The focal point in this choker is this beautiful antique finished silver pendant. Its surrounded by antique finished pewter bead spacers and beads.

You may call it a cuff style bracelet. I gave it an abstract look. Added a splash of blue so that my client could match it with her blue outfit.

Bollywood inspired chandeliars to go with any dress.

So what do you think?
