My mom is a member of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, Bangalore Branch and she and a group of other members were invited to showcase their talent during June 3-5, 2011 at MEWS Ladies Club, Malleswaram, Bengaluru, India to commemorate Mrs. Ammani Iyengar's Birth centenary. Now, its no ordinary feat to make such admirable Japanese floral arrangements, as you can see, there is a lot of planning and design into creating them . I really admire the efforts of the team who have created this absolutely stunning Ikebana stage arrangement.

For the longest time, I remember my mother always created floral arrangements to express her emotions. This is her destress mantra.
For me, making jewelry is my destress mantra.
Do you have a destress mantra?
Wow, thats lovely! My mom used to do Ikebana many years back...
